I love the line about hallucinating cats in particular because um *raises hand* yup that's how I gauge how sleep deprived I am. If it's not too bad it's cats, if it's very bad they're lions. What strange ways our brains have of telling us we're tired. I once spent about 30mins staring at the peninsula hills wondering who let the large pack of lions loose ;) Never Dylan though! ;)

...yeah, i sheepishly have to admit that one was all from, uh. my own experience, too. i didn't realise the cats were that common! little black kitty-cats running all around in my peripheral vision. which, when i mentioned it to Izzy, maaaaaaay have possibly scared her a little. HEE.
