Yay similtaneous watching! We watched the Claudia Black ep at the Jamboree and were very unmoved by the clunkyness of some of the dialogue (okay, and the fact she wasn't wearing anything Vala-y. WHAT. WE ARE MAYBE A LITTLE SHALLOW!), but the pilot seems to be written a bit better, and since I'm about six books into the series right now, I am really appreciating how they've got the tone and character so similar to the books -- with the technology thing, and him being all chivalrous and not a tough guy. I may have to keep watching.
