Okay, so on my mum's encouragement, decided to get a bit of fresh air tonight and leave the house, so we went to pub quiz. Where one of the questions was "which song begins with the lyrics 'All the leaves are brown'?" I may have laughed myself into a coughing fit at that point. Ohh, North. *hearts Fraser and RayV ( Read more... )

'All the leaves are brown/and the sky is grey...' Dude. California dreamin' on such a winter's day? The Byrds? You did not get this? Aw.

...sigh. Damn Forrest Gump soundtrack ATE MY CHILDHOOD.

I MISS QUIZ NIGHT. Pity I cannot come up each and every Tuesday night for Pub Quiz. I wouldn't even had to go far. To the Airport! I only just have to walk. I miss the chips. Yum.

No, no, we totally got that. It's just HILARIOUS for reasons you will understand when you get to the Season 2 opener for due South. :D

Good, because it makes up for not knowing that Bohemian Rhapsody one from last week. Man that was cruel.

Oooh ohh, must have, must have!

And, funny thing I read today. You know that question about who wrote 24 volumes of household hints and etiquette and whatever back in 1892ish? Yeah, she had syphilis. That could explain something. :D

Well. If all things go well with that other thing, you may never know. Nudge nudge.

GOd, so true. How sad were we all...

And, oh my god, Ange, Outrageous Fortune was SO FUNNY and also, my god with the slashy tonight. Thank you for accidently getting me into it!

And, oh my god, really? HEEEEEEEE.

Ys. Indeed. *discreet appendage crossing*

You know what? "Wiped and coughing" DOES NOT EQUAL "malingering". Seriously, dude, your work ethic is out of control.

*hearts you, and also fusses and worries a bit*

Well, the wiped is sort of on-going and the coughing is an artifact of my stupid asthma (it goes "oh yay! a cough!" and glomps on for weeks to it), it's just that we are getting audited on Thursday and there was stuff I was needing/meaning to do on Monday morning which, obviously, didn't get done and we're still largely short-staffed. Though that should be fixed soon. *crosses everything like whoa* I am so going home early if I feel crap again, though. So, um, at least I have made progress in that area?

*hearts you back, appreciates the fussing, much much glomping and adoration back your way*

I see no split infinitive, but then I'm of the school of thought that says there's nothing wrong with 'em anyway.

*snugs and wishes you well (as in, wishes you were well)*
