...you know what i mean! *cracks up because you're so right* well, i figured it had to be an Egyptian pharaoh and not a Ptolemaic one because i don't think any of the Ptolemies were mummified, were they? and luckily for us, the question specified mummy. :D
Okay, cool. I was wondering what the hell! But you're right in that they've not really found anything of Cleo, so it was much more likely to be Hap. I wouldn't have been able to spell it right for the quiz, though!!! LOL!
you didn't know about an ancient Egyptian tomb, I failed to know that a bomb had notquitegoneoff in my own country. Not once, but twice. Someone point me in the direction of RL, please.
...oh, wow. dude. yes. I think you in fact are streets ahead in those stakes, given that. *pats your pretty head* (RL fuzziness due to pan-Canada chat shenanigans?)
I want to blame chat, I do. But one of the not-bombs happened before chat even started. *awards self F* Instead I think I'll blame my labyrinthitis, because clearly having a dizzy head means that any news listened to is just a version of blahblahgarbleblahrandomthingsarehappeningblah.
When Chris and I were playing with N's kitten on Sunday I may have started to tell them about when we broke Rufus with the laser pointer. I suspect N will be SEARCHING me whenever I visit from now on in hopes of preventing the same thing happening to her cat. :D
I would love to say yes to Dylan but think I'm going to be doing the two single trips to Auckland thing rather than staying for the week because wow is accommodation for 8 nights in Auckland expensive! It's actually cheaper to fly up and back twice, go figure. So i think I'm seeing Dylan in Chch. I hope you find someone who can squee with you while the Frames are on :)
I have a friend in the States who just stumbled upon 'Once' by accident and can't stop raving about it so I'm hoping it makes it to the festival down here too.
I just got my booklet tonight and squeed appropriately. Looks like a really good festival this year down here. Looking forward to Anton's, Curtis biopic and new Michael Winterbottom muchly

admittedly, we still got it right because she was the only female pharaoh i know of,
Unless you count Cleopatra?
