GIP: We could totally defeat the Wraith with a bit of no 8 fencing wire.

Weird day. Woke up late, left late, scraped into work a minute early (no clue how, other than my coffee was a bit quicker than usual), and then I got struck by this overwhelming bursting need to be Somewhere Else because something was Happening and I was totally fit to bust out of my skin all morning and it was driving me bonkers because I had no ( Read more... )

Is icon gankable? Where did you get the pic from? Is it from a screen cap or is it photoshopped? (i so want to see the ep which apparently exists with the NZ flag on Stargate. That would be so cool, liek whoa.)

I think I actually want to be slightly toolish and keep it for me, but I can absolutely try and make you another one if you'd like? Because, yeah, I basically just flailed about in photoshop until it fit. :D (I so do, too. Actually, I mostly hope like crazy they weren't mixing our flag up with the Aussie one, though I haven't seen that one yet, either. *reminds self to pay much closer attention to background persons' BDUs while re-watching in future*)

If you were willing to make one for me, that would be awesome like nothing else on earth. :-)

Okay, I've had a bit of a go at it - and I think I was damn lucky the first time to accidently get an easy angle/shot, because it was trickier than I thought... anyway, I have this one at the moment, if you'd like it - I apologise because it looks a bit clumsy to me. I am slooooooowly learning teh Photoshop, so. I can have another go later as well if you like, but this seems to be the best I can manage tonight:

that has been contributing, though i never actually went on LJ at all from work (it freaks me out too much in general, and plus, working for big huge enormous mulitnational company? they have mondo web security stuff and, like, keylogging probably and everything. sigh.)

and, awwwwww. i love you for the thought, though. and i have a new phone again now! except sadly is not the same as my old one (apparently they no longer make it even though it was about five months old if THAT) so now i have to work out how to use the new one. my life is pain and suffering! heh.

ah well, i just meant the odd comment reply from email here and there before.

oh yes, i saw the whole mess of the washed phone. someone commented saying they'd dropped theirs in the toilet but it still worked? same thing happened to pam. it works fine except you can't lower the ring volume, which is on high, or change the ring tone (which we switched to that 'CHARGE!' song when in mississippi cos it was hilarious at the time BUT NOT SO MUCH ANYMORE). anyway, that sucks. bah. same number, though, i'm guessing?

oh oh oh, and i was saying this in meg's journal cos i got CSI mixed up with some other show, but glen totally got hooked on CSI on the plane ride from nyc to sf. six hours of it! aheeeee.

ah, yes, exactly. that was nice, i miss that (except when it told me i was trying to open PORN when i replied to Kate, oops). although i think i actually get to pay more attention to my email and tend to answer it a LITTLE more from home than when i could, like, read it and think "i'll do it later" and then i never did ( ... )

This is totally random, but the person that went up on stage during the SG-1 panel on Monday to do that hair pulling thing just commented on my journal asking if I had photos of it, and I remember that you may have that on video. If you do, I can point her in your direction, because she's really keen to see it.

Also, your icon wins so much. :)

Oh, wow. I love fandom. I love New Zealand. Because both of them are THISBIG. So, yes, absolutely - please give her my email (forensic.plumbing [at] gmail [dot] com) and I will be more than happy to send it to her because I've checked and yep, I've got it. :)

Thank you! *grin*

Heee! I was quite stunned when she told me, so I flapped and flailed a bit and tried to find where you said you had it. I am glad she and her video are united at last.

I love being THISBIG, it's easier to feel special. :)

I wonder if anyone managed to get a cap of the NZ flag from that woman's jacket from Rising. That brings me joy each time I see it.

Oh, dude. Seriously. That is so cool. And indeed! I'm just happy that I was mostly unblocked at the time to video, however shaky it might be...

Yes, exactly!!

...NEW PROJECT!! *pets SGA dvds fondly and makes plans for the afternoon* I've never noticed it in Rising, though I have admittedly seen it only twice so far and the first time I was so busy flailing to be finally getting to see SGA that I suspect I missed a LOT. :D But, yay, am really really glad to know WHICH episode it is in so I can hunt (and cap, and squee, and be a huge dork...)
