Don't make crossover Goonies/SGA jokes. Because no one except you will find it funny.
**raises hand** I'd find it funny. Well, as long as they were funny jokes. And come on, it's me and it's crossover. It would be hard to be so unfunny that I wouldn't laugh. (Was that reassuring?)
...me too. This is why you need to live with me! Because then we could do this TOGETHER. Instead, I will continue to try and read my flist (and, er, a Beautiful Lifetime Event again because I was craving it at work all day. Heh.)
it DOES! it should do, anyway. i'm thinking, if it works - a week in Boston/Philly/DC, and a week in LA? probably? because must see you guys. though i suspect i will end up somehow managing to get to Denver as well because i would hate to miss people. and I want to get to Madison as well. and Canada-- ahh, crap, I'm doomed, aren't I? heh. :D
I knoooooooow! I wanted to meet you guys so, so much, and plus it seems like practically all the rest of fandom is going this year too and WANTY. (okay, mostly i want to clutch and you and Anna nad Liz and be all "meep! people!" but... gah! seriously. if i had my old job still i would so be there, student loans be buggered. rats.)
WHY NOT INDEED!!
shiny shiny fandom of glee and bliss that it is. *pets it a lot*
i would like to lick your icon all over. i mean. just sayin'. again. :D
OMG, that would have been SO amazing. :( I WANT TO CLUTCH YOU BACK! *cries* Why must NZ be SO FAR AWAY?! Damn tectonic plates and the round nature of the Earth... *sigh*
I know, wouldn't it just?? Argh, this whole 'responsibility' thing can BLOW ME because normally I would just say "fuck it" and turn up and I really can't and I am so spoiled already but YOU GUYS and I really want to. Sigh. *clutches internet-ly* God, why am I thousands of miles and dollars and twenty plus flying hours away? WHY GOD WHY?
*pets* Well, we all have our wee foibles. (It's okay, the Husband doesn't love it either and I'll still cook for her when we're in the same country, so. ;) It's not exactly a friendship deal breaker or nuthin'. Besides, then there's more for me!Also, just because? *hugs the living STUFFING out of you today* And, if you don't mind and I can be a huge pest? Would you mind emailing me your postal address? forensic(dot)plumbing(at)gmail(dot)com. because I have a thing or two which would like to be Liz-bound. just sayin'. also, for my edification, did you/do you ever read Terry Pratchett at all? because there's a Thing I want to do but it'll make zero sense if you don't/didn't, so
( ... )
Yay!! *g* I totally will, then. Two great tastes that taste great together! ...except, oh god, I'd be forced to make Rodney be Chunk and eek. But HEE.
I have eight bajillion Marvel comics (mostly X Men and related) from about 1995 - 2000 or so which I haven't looked at for ages and I'm figuring I should try and sell them to someone who'll appreciate them (and also? then I get another cupboard free for books and suchlike!)
My mother always laughs at me because I get all excited when the beginning of Streets comes on the radio, before she can even hear anything. She thinks I'm clapping for the silence.
Meeeeeeeeeg, help, the internets have me in their thrall! argh! I was meant to be in bed an HOUR ago!
Oh, but-- yes. Exactly. I love you guys, because you GET that. Yes. I said- I had a moan about it, a few years back, actually. Something about how there's a certain TYPE of silence before Streets and if you connect to the band, you almost always recognise it. Creeps the normals out something chronic, too. ;) And, aww, bless her. *grins at your mum being all cute*
There's got to be some kind of sub-audial hum just before it becomes something your ears can pick up on, but you know the hum with your body more than your ears. Or something like that.
