yup gotta be the 5c thing. a bus driver actually tried to refuse my 5c's today. considering they made up.....1/4 of my fare(yes yes that took me a long time to work out, im a humanities student! ;) and its pay day and i had no other cash? was not impressed.

Also totally not helpful considering i've never heard you talk like in real life but i only hear kiwi in your accent :) my friend just got back from 2 years in london with 5 south african flatmates. no trace of an english accent but she sounds like a full blooded springbok supporter. it is quite freaky. ive forgotten what my real accent sounds like being a total mimic. i think the fact i cringe when i say milo with kiwi vowels but dont when i say school with ozzie ones means im still secretly an ozzie, shhsssssssh :)

Also some stupid oz media saying march 07 not november? wrong, ignore them. god id like solid dates though :(

ARGH. ...and, hee. gotta love being an arts student! i actually took a maths paper in first year. i forget why. it seemed like a good idea at the time? :D but yeah, definitely grounds for being supremely irate.

and, okay, glad to hear that, yay! ...oh, wow, yeah, that would pick up something chronic. yikes. i pick up phrases and phrasings more than actual accents, which is a bit unfortunate because then i sound like a mishmash of everyone i know and it's a little... creepy? maybe? hee. but yes. *pet* aww, it's okay, i'll let you be both. i claim my aussie blood when it suits. :D

Maybe you can convince your government to come here to the US and get the whole currency-canceling thing out of their systems? I'd gladly give up the 37 tons of pennies I have in the closet just so you can keep your beloved 5c coins.

They're *so* annoying, and you can never seem to get rid of them all and no one ever wants them. I even have to pay the bank to take them all back! All they were ever really good for anyways was either as ammunition against the underclassmen in high school, or to balance out a warped '45 on the stereo.

Jaysus, I'm old...but I still have pennies older than I am. *g*
