Shite, I got stunned by the ending. Still can't get over the fact that he stabbed Alfred in the back.

*mind reeling*

Such a cute and noble vampire, oh Alfred! I want to hug you so bad!

Wait, so does it mean Arthur went to Louisiana to look for the vampire, or something?

Heh, yeah England's quite... not very nice in this one. ^^;

Ah no, he went to Louisiana to escape his notoriaty in England, actually. He was just unlucky - or lucky, depending on how you look at it.

:DD Kudos to you for getting that! Here I thought that perhaps I had made it entirely too vague. ^^; I'm glad I left it somewhat of a mystery as readers like you can piece it together. ^__^ He's the real reason for the title of the comic actually.

And yay! I'm glad the shading went over well! :D In terms of storytelling, I thought it would be a missed chance to not show how England's burning up in the sun. Although New Orleans weather can kill you ordinarily, sheesh! Anybody from London would probably have a tough time of it.

And no need to apologize! :D I'm glad to see you enjoyed it!

Haha, the trick was to cover the mystery with a different obvious one. ^__^
