Yeah, King had a lot of good things to say in "On Writing." He gets awesome points.

HAHAHA don't get too excited, I was writing a script for doujinshi. (Mind you, I still get to sell it, but it's not quite the same.) Finished works are called 'books,' hence the confusion.

Sorry, I'm not that cool.

Still...finishing a story is still finishing a story!

And I still would like to read the steampunk Ruka story when you are done with it! :)

HAHAHA, yeah, someday I'll get back to work on things that I should be more concerned with. To be honest I've been suffering writer's block, and am wondering if that's because I've been reading too much or what. Hrm.

bahhhhhhhh. /o/ I hate writer's block. It means I spend the evening looking at blank space and reading a book. orz

OMG YAY. I think I need to write up some thoughts about it. I absolutely loved it, so very, very good, but I was completely frustrated that all the characters I liked died. HAHA, and I liked Harold and pitied him. Seriously. I just like. . . I felt for him SO MUCH, but I think that's the point. Although some things about Harold made me think that there was a bit more of Stephen King put into him then he realized.

I also really liked Glen and Tom. At least Tom didn't die, I would have been crushed. Tom's character was so good for me, he was so sweet and just. . . Ahhh, I wish I knew what hapened to him after he and Stu got back to Boulder. Glen I just liked because he was like the peanut gallery. And entertaining.

Mmm, I'm going to stop before I explode all over the keyboard. XD

I've always...empathized, I guess...with Harold, but the more I read the book the more I desperately, futilely love him ( ... )
