It was a familiar nightmare--a familiar sight, actually, since the nightmares were only a recent addition. He ran over the memory often, always looking for answers, always trying to fill the gaps. Bai in the middle of a shallow pond, Amber next to her, holding the Meteor Shard. Everything was glowing, and the stars fell all around them.

Things were different this time. People who shouldn't have been there were in the pond as well. Mu, Milo, Shun. Kirihara and Sam Tyler. Mion and the psychic cat, Cy. Why were they there? Why weren't they running? It was going to happen again, South America, and everyone, everyone would

Yuzuriha glanced over briefly when Li stirred but shifted her attention back to Mu quickly. She brushed lavender strands from his face. She didn’t look at Li when she spoke, unable to take her eyes off Mu.

“I don’t know.”

She’d felt the blast, it had shaken her to the very core. Even now she thought she could feel it in her bones. It had been terrifying and awe-inspiring it was comparable to a supernova. “Hades has been…temporarily defeated.” Her heart felt heavy, thinking back to her own home temporarily and the impending war. Each war won two hundred years of peace, it seemed certain victory was impossible. How could mere mortals destroy a god? It had been Andromeda’s will that had allowed Hades to be stopped on this plane, at the cost of his life.

Yuzuriha was careful not to let her feelings taint her cosmo, keeping it stable as if cradling Mu with her entire being. The blast had not been the only thing that left her trembling.

“I apologize for holding you back.”

Hei fixed her with a calculating look, though she wasn't looking at him.

"Mu? The others? Are they alive?" He hesitated before adding, "And Shun?"

He had a feeling he already knew the answer to that last question. They were Saints, after all. They had a certain way of dealing with things. Somehow like Contractors, and yet not at all.

He turned his head, grimacing a little at the pain, and his gaze returned to the stars.

"I would have done the same." Saints were on a completely different level; Hei had known that, but he had charged in anyway. It was like a civilian running into a fight between Contractors. Hei understood that, but it didn't mean he liked it. He didn't like feeling helpless.

“He will need rest. But considering the circumstances we are fortunate.” She hated saying it like that, that one person dying was fortunate. “Aquarius and Scorpio are fine. Andromeda… Dead, his body was probably destroyed by the blast.” Yuzuriha kept her voice even, setting her hands on Mu’s shoulder to keep herself from clenching them to fists.

She glanced at him, noting his pinched expression. “Come,” Yuzuriha held a hand towards him. At the very least she would be able to ease the headache.

She knew nothing about Li but from the incident it was apparent that he wasn’t a normal person. She couldn’t hold it against him for trying to jump into the fight even if it had been foolish.

Hei was quiet for awhile, processing the information. Shun dead; it was as he feared. Hei didn't know him that well, but despite being a Saint he had a certain innocence to him, something Mu, Milo and Camus didn't have. But that was how it usually went. The danger was where you least expected it.

The question was, what would happen to Shun now?

"He'll...come back," he said. "The Twins don't let anyone stay dead here. Will he come back as Shun or as...?"

Hei raised an eyebrow at her hand, but he half-crawled to her, wincing the whole way.

"You hit hard," he muttered, flopping onto his back again. The stars were swimming again. He tried to focus on the young woman, since she was closer.
