Which left him Sam's.
Not that the clothing was /bad/ persay - garish colour notwithstanding, but it was uncomfortable. Tight. Leather.
But there were more important things to think about and the lavender haired man looked down at the girl who was, for all intents and purposes, his boss for the time being. "Just be careful not to let your ego get the better of you. Think before you act."

Fumie turned to the doors and paused. She supposed Gene would make a big entrance. It fit his type of person. The inside of the building was, for lack of a better word, musty. And dark. It seemed cavelike to the man who was used to open air and the chill of high altitudes.

"You're late and the team's been waiting on you." Fumie managed not to jump when the grumpy lady behind the desk spoke. "Mind hitting the pub after you do work?"
"They can wait a little longer!" Fumie snapped. She wondered if that was very Gene. Frowning, she turned back to Mu. "Tyler, follow me. And you! You tell that...lot they can just wait!" Mentally, she winced. Not enough swearing to be Gene.
With that, doing her strongest walk, she slipped into the hallway, more or less certain it was the right way.

Thick smoke filled the air, rancid with the smell of coffee and cigarettes. The lavender-haired man resisted the urge to bolt back outside to the relatively fresh air and sunshine, but no, Sam put up with this day in and out and so Mu would too.
The occupants of the room had all turned to stare at the pair as they entered, all but one with a lit smoke. The one who didn't well, she was a cute lady, and Mu presumed her to be Annie, the one to turn to for help should the need arise. He nodded politely to her, as well.
