Location: PANDORA.
Time: A few days after Diva was captured.
Summary: Diva has been captured by PANDORA, an organization in Hei's world. Hei returns to Tokyo and breaks into the compound in order to rescue her.
Warnings: Death, blood, violence--relatively graphic, too. It's Diva and Hei, you're used to this by now, right?
It's no trouble finding the same route that Wei led them on the last time they went into the Gate. It feels like years ago, even though it's only been a few months.
The place still hasn't been discovered. It's empty, unlit, and the hole that Wei left is still there. Wei himself is probably still buried under the rubble. Hei gets the feeling he would have preferred it that way, staying hidden until he had turned to dust. A small triumph over his "arch-enemy", perhaps. The Syndicate would catch up with Hei one day--he knew it. But no one would ever find Wei. He would simply have disappeared into thin air.
Wei had always been an idiot.
The moment they crossed over into the wall, Hei's head began to pound. This was the fourth time he had entered the Gate. It had gotten harder every time, and this time was the worst yet. Hei didn't think it was all to do with the Gate's power--not this time. He could feel that strange power, Bai's power, stirring inside him, almost as if it was responding to the Gate's call.
Hei tried to ignore it. They needed to find water. They needed to find Diva.
He tightened his grip on Yin's hand and they walked faster.
