He had some bit ago slipped back into an animalistic mode - though he knew where he was going; somewhere that he generally considered a safe place, where he could come across the other member in his coalition (or so his mind was thinking at the moment).

Lucky for him, the Doctor was there. He growled as a first response before leaning against the nearest tree to keep from collapsing fully - and to take pressure off of his wounded leg.

The Doctor's steps slowed as he approached, halting several feet away. He knows that, right now, he's dealing with the animal, not the man.

"Master." The word is soft, carrying the suggestion of tranquillity and security.

"Let me help you."

The Master tilted his head just a fraction, warily eying the Doctor from where he stood. He doesn't growl again, though, but remains where he is at.

It was rather hard to communicate when left with just a series of growls, hisses, and various other noises.

Slowly, he begins to move towards the Master once more, never breaking eye contact. His voice remains smooth, gentle.

"If you come with me, I can heal you." Not entirely, but this wasn't the time for technicalities.
