It's entirely possible that since a large number of us seem to be from different times - even those that come from the same world - time just isn't a normal factor in this equation. Once we return, our absence might not even have been noticed, and the time that passed here was merely a second in our own.

[This is Cooper being comforting.]

I've had the same thought, and I hope it's true. However, I've developed into a mind set of "plan for the worst, hope for the best."

It's a good mindset. At the same time, though, I'd advice you not to worry too much. At the present time, there is nothing we can do about any consequences our absence might have.

True. You make a good point. All I can do is press onward in case it's the way to get home.

I know you can't buy the time-not-moving thing-- not completely, but there isn't anything we can do about it yet. You'll just end up worrying yourself sick.

Even if your immune system's crazy.

...Perhaps so. All the more reason to focus on the tasks we've been given, right?

It's better not to be here alone.

Well, I mean, not alone from your home. I could never be alone with all of these new friends.

I guess I'll find out.

I consider myself fortunate in regard to meeting people here. I've made friends that I value as much as some of the friends I have back home.

That's so great! I got to make so many new friends on my journey at home...I'd hate to think the same thing couldn't happen here.

Speaking of which, are you in Violet City right now?

I... I'm sure it'll be alright! You have other friends who're still at home, right?

I do. And I have faith that they can handle things in our absence. But if both Shinn and I were still there, I believe things could be managed more quickly.

Ah, that's true... is there a deadline?

There's no deadline. But the political situation in my world is incredibly delicate right now; the more people we have dedicated to building a lasting peace, the better.

Are you worried time will pass in your world while you remain here?

Have you considered the possibility that you will be sent back to the very moment you left once you leave Johto?

The thought occurred to me...but I dismissed it almost immediately. It seemed too convenient.
