With your last statement in mind, you may think I meant that a new believer should immediately live just like Jesus, in that amplitude of power and love. Wrong. Growing in Messiah is a process that takes time and effort. The article is about what our GOAL is - the end toward which we are racing. Some set the wrong goal - we believe in having the scriptural goal.
You are free to choose your own. As for me and my house, or goal is Messiah, perfect and complete, in us, and we formed in his image, doing his works. That hasn't happened, and we aren't done running our race. But we sure aren't going to decide to set our goal short of that high calling laid before us by the Word of God.

We do know in part etc., but you are not a bug. No sir! The work of God done for you is better than that, and you are designed to become his very image and likeness, with Jesus the eldest of many brethren. May the Holy Spirit take you from pitiful to powerful in the power of his might, for God's glory.
