Yesterday while driving back to Raleigh, caudelac and I discussed whether The Wizard of Oz might be the most universally watched movie in America. I'm conducting an informal LJ poll: If you have not seen The Wizard of Oz, or if you know someone who is not an infant who has not seen The Wizard of Oz, I am curious to know of it. Well, Seth is four and hasn't seen it, that's not "an infant". :)

DAT is almost 5 and has not seen it. Well...he saw the tornado part but had to go to bed :P

Interesting. I can't think of a movie more likely to be "most watched."

I believe The Library of Congress already acknowledged The Wizard of Oz as the most watched film of all time. It has had regular network tv broadcasts since the 50s.
