Not! Volume 1 cover and another new illustration leaked early on Squeenix website

The Square Enix manga website just updated showing off the cover of Soul Eater Not! volume 1, as well as a new color pic of Black Star that looks like a detail of a much larger illustration (possibly from the upcoming color spread in the next issue of GanGan?).

Oh I really hope the Black*Star pic is part of a group shot, because I have a thing for group shots and I can't get enough of them.

On the other hand the cover for Not! looks kind of lame to me, they're just standing (well, hanging in the air) there like in every other color illustration, but... it's probably just me.

To be fair, though, pretty much every cover illustration for the main SE volumes has also been "the characters just standing around."

Thanks for posting these! Though I can see how the cover can look pretty boring, I think it's cute. And hopefully the B*S picture is a group one, since I love those. I also love the clothes Ohkubo has them wear in them.
