*shoots self for not updating*

So, today is Taeho's birthday and Friday was Chelley's. Yesterday Maria-chan was kind enough to walk across The Street of Dooom to Publix with me so I could buy cakey things -- one set for each birthday person. And I made Taeho's in her oven and Chelley's in... Chelley's oven... but she'd said she wanted to help make ( Read more... )

Cute cakes! Now I want chocolate cake.^^

I love how you wrote on TaeHo's cake in Korean, extra sweet...♥
Cakes made by a friend always trump cakes made by a bakery, because they are made with love... =^ x ^=

He saw the Korean and said "You know what this means?!" XD It was freaking hard to write in icing, too. Not that the Japanese wasn't, but at least I'm used to that language and can have some fun with it. ^^ As you can see from the second symbol on Aoi-chan's cake.

Aw, I'd make you a cake if we didn't live so far apart!

Where did you learn the proper Birthday congratulations phrase? (And I see you called him 'oppa'^^)

Making a cake is fun, and icing is a part where you can be creative. However on the rare occasion I get to make a cake, I usually just make killer rich icings with whipped cream and/or cream cheese... >_>;;

Thanks =^ x ^= ~♥

That sounds so yummy... *slaps self*

Yeah, the 'oppa' thing is a funny story... I dunno if I've told it here before, but we were just hanging out and he suddenly told me, "I am your older brother." It took a minute and a nice little O_O face to realize what he meant. And he asked me to call him oppa from then on. XD Even after I explained that Americans don't call their significant others by sibling titles. XD

ZOMG YOU BETTER NOT JUST BE SAYING THAT!!! last time: 'oh yeah. i'm coming.' *no-show* time after: 'i'll be there definitely! i'm so excited!' *no-show again*

tsk, tsk... (wow. aoi-chan says that a lot tonight. X_X) we're doing chapter 22, i believe, now. yeah, i don't think we're on chapter 23 yet...cos that's the final chapter... oh! so! level 3 of JLPT is seriously mind-numbingly easy. level 2 makes me work and sweat a little bit. DO YOU HAVE ANY CLUE HOW MUCH AMAZINGNESS THAT IS??? (XD x 10^23) <--that's the only time you'll ever see me get all math/scientific-notation-ie.

mata!

Haha. I'm coming on Thursday, too. And every class I can possibly make from now on. I will NOT be beat by that Orozco kid -- he's the guy that's always stuttering "Hi-ya-ku per-cent-o ja nak-attara, dam-ei de-su." Freaking annoying. Maybe more-so than Victor.

As for JLPT... one year at UF and you'll be acing level one. How are your Japanese credits being transferred, anyway? Are you going to take a placement test?
