Lizbet is pretty much how Diwaniya left her, except she's tried to tidy up after her sobbing her eyes out. It...didn't work very well, and she looks like she's been crying. It really adds to her 'battered young woman' theme

Mathilda arrives at the hospital with coffee in a sealed thermos, and made it there in record time. This is because she speed-walked most of the way, what with it being four thirty in the morning and the creepy brainwashed folk about. She appears in the doorway.

"Hey."

Lizbet straightens, and it's kind of visible how she smoothes into PublicElizabeth as soon as she sees someone in the room with her. "Hey, Mathilda. Come in."

This isn't visiting hours. Lizbet could not give two shits.

Mathilda is familiar with that kind of change. It makes her pause at the door, like she's been reminded of something, but then she moves on as if nothing had happened.

"Here's the coffee," she offers the thermos, "A lot of it, actually."

She may have stealthily avoided a few doctors and a security guard on the way in.

Lizbet takes the thermos gratefully. "Thanks so much." Lizbet does not really care if the coffee is made how she likes it or not, at this point. Her mom is trying to reduce her caffeine intake and fuck that noise. "Sorry to be a pain when everything's...I mean, comparatively, this isn't that important."

And she's so earnest and sincere.
