Hey, sweetheart, if I made a pair of origami crane earrings as clip-ons, would you like them? I know not everyone likes clip-ons so I thought I'd ask. Or a crane as a necklace pendant? As a fellow whimsy lover, I'd like to pass it on.

Ooh, that would be wonderful. And it's sweet of you to remember I can't wear piercings. I'm not sure I could comfortably wear a clip on over my scar, though. I'm hoping that with a full time job (and/or Obamacare) I might be able to start getting treatments to reduce my scar again.

I have an odd memory. Sometimes I'll forget something right after you tell me -- like, say, names -- and other times I'll remember it for-fucking-ever.

Yeah, I never found clip-on earrings comfortable at all, even when I was tiny and had wee earlobes. I can't imagine wearing them over scars. Ugh.

I have red, orange, blue, green, purple, gold, and silver paper.

Hah, I wish. I have all my crap crammed into a shithole of a room in a house that isn't decorated at all, unless you count the coffee decals and horrid grape vine border and miscellaneous dried up/plastic plants in the kitchen.

I was infinitely jealous for a minute there. I could never get any place I lived to look like this. I'd destroy it so fast.

Aw, grape vine border <3 I'm sure you could do it (decorate)! All of these places have a similar aesthetic. You could totally recreate it to your SATISFACTION.

Aaah, but that would actually require me having, you know, money in order to be able to afford curtains. Even Ikea curtains, which those green leaf ones are - I know this because I've been lusting after them for a while.

I've been into home decorating for a while. I think I've just been wanting a real home for a while.

You know what is my most favorite decorating thing ever?

The ghost chair. I've wanted one for... seven years, now?
