Hey, at least it pays the bills, and you make the customers happy!

I have some awesome regular customers. It's the only good thing about the job. :)

Where are you working now, Sheryll? And customer service of any kind...AAAAARGH.

Still at the Superstore. And, yeah, customer service can be hell. So many idiots out there.

Also very tired of parents who don't watch what their kids are doing. Came back from break today to find a kid in my front of my till, playing with her toys on my produce scale. Her mother was right behind her, completely oblivious to what her child was doing just 3 feet behind her. *sigh*

We should get together for a bite at some point, eh? Or whatever... Remake of Robocop? :-)

Oh yes, getting together for a bite would be nice. And think dear Meghan could use a breather, too. Though who knows if she could find the time, the poor thing.

We should organize something! Have we ever had a bite, just the three of us? That would be fun, eh? :-)

I don't think we've ever gone out just the three of us. It would be a nice outing.

Guilty as charged... ms_arithmancer January 21 2014, 03:39:49 UTC
I do the leave-my-wallet-in-the-car-when-grocery-shopping trick a few times a year. Usually because it has slipped out of my purse (which I do have with me, for all the good it does me...)

There's a big difference between not having your entire wallet with you and deliberately showing up with just an unsigned credit card! I've had customers realise they don't have their wallet. It's an easy fix. I call a supervisor and they suspend the order. Then the customer can either go to the car or home and get whatever they need to pick up the order on their return. It happens to everyone now and then, myself included. We deal with it easily, quickly and with a minimum of fuss for the customer.
