My "three" was a random guess. While chicken-fried steak is doubtless one of the USA's great contributions to world cuisine, I just could not see eating it more often than every other day...

True enough, but keep in mind that I live in a country that doesn't have chicken fried steak. I have a week every year to feed the craving. :)

I actually can't remember. I've had three new crises since you left and my mind is going. I guessed three; although I wasn't sure if we should count the leftovers for breakfast as separate occasions.

What are the new crises? I suspect our minds have been going for ages, though, so I don't think you can blame the crises for that. :D

I've always had trouble with the concept of "chicken fried steak." Is there also a "steak grilled chicken"? Why is there a newspaper called The Boston Phoenix, but no newspaper called The Phoenix Boston???

I hope that once people give their guesses, you'll tell us what your real answer is!

Why do we park on driveways and drive on parkways? Years ago I saw a whole list of things like that.
