Summary: Chinen has a new skype buddy~
Why’d you have to be so cute?
He had caught her eye since day one. He wasn’t all that tall, neither was he all that buff, but what he lacked in physique he made up with ability, personality and charm. She couldn’t put a finger on it, what attracted her to him? She usually went for the “hot, tall, handsome” kind but he was just too cute, and from their conversations, she could tell that he was pretty intelligent as well. And with each and every time they spoke she was drawn in deeper and deeper.
It’s impossible to ignore you..
No matter how tired she was, she would always find herself looking forward to his nightly calls over skype. It had become almost routine, a part of her day, her favourite part of the day.
Must you make me laugh so much?
She found everything he said to be amusing. Especially when he complained about studying English.
“I’m Japanese, so why must I learn English?!” The expression on his face as he said that always made her giggle~
And she would reply “if you didn’t study English, you wouldn’t be able to talk to me now would you?”
“That’s true” he would reply blushing.
And to that she laughed again “you’re too cute!” and he would respond with a puff of his cheeks.
It’s bad enough we get along so well..
She thought it strange that she got along so well with this online chat buddy of hers. She had never actually established an actual friendship with someone over skype before. She felt like he knew her better than any of her friends in Singapore, friends she had actually met up/had physical contact with! This coupled with all those late night skype sessions made it impossible to deny her feeling any further.
Say goodnight and go~
One evening, she out after her shower to see an IM from him.
“Call me when you see this, it’s urgent.”
She made herself decent and clicked on the video call button, her heart racing as she waited for him to pick up. He’s never acted this way before, was something wrong? He picked up, almost too quickly, she wasn’t mentally prepared.
“Hey~ what’s up?”
“…………”
“Is something wrong?”
“…………”
“Hello~ earth to Chinen~!”
“I love you.”
--“BEL~! DINNER~!”-her mum called from outside her room.
“…… listen.. I gotta go, but before I do-I love you too.”
