I've been doing more polishing to my bigbangjob fic today - it seems to be coming together now but I bet I'll read through it again and find flow problems because I've been adding new scenes and elements in all over the place! It's almost at 19k now - and I always thought the point of editing was to cut out the bits that aren't needed!

Seems like you have a lot on the go at the moment - good luck with it all!

Way to go! You sound like you're getting it in a good place.

Yeah, it's the additions and moving around that threw it off for me. I realized I wanted Moreau to show up, but I didn't realize it until the draft was almost done, lol. So I revamped it as much as I could and sent it off for claiming. It'll be fine. My writer's pride is just taking a hit at the thought of someone reading something so rough, lol.

Thanks :) Yeah, considering how rough it was before! It's taken me a good few days to get it worked out, though.

Yeah, that's kind of what happened with me. I decided to put a whole new flashback element into it that informs the present so it's needed serious structure changing and a good number of scenes written from scratch. I think it's worked, though, so I can send it off to my beta once I'm finished :)

Not that I'm complaining, 'cause you being busy means pretty things to read and look at ;)...but no wonder you never sleep, lol.

I had thoughts about signing the fic I'm working on for a bb, but I'm glad I didn't, 'cause RL is kicking my butt...can't be at two places at once.
