Let's see...

Eliot glanced at the pile of glass that now littered the floor by Nate’s front door, a pile that used to be an empty bottle of Jameson “You throw that at anyone in particular?”

Shaking his head, Nate rubbed his eyes. “Just had a moment.”

“Good thing you had it before I got here.”

I'm pretty sure I know where I'm going with it. It's set directly after Jimmy leaves for Ireland.

I'll I have right now are notes, but the basic plot is this:

Steve has a reputation for enjoying the... hospitality of various women while on tour. It's a reputation Steve clings to, because he's trying to cover up his feelings for Chris, feelings he's sure Chris wouldn't reciprocate.

But unbeknownst to Steve, it's breaking Chris's heart into tiny bits.

(Don't worry. It'll have a happy ending!)

Mostly what I have right now is dialogue, but the basic premise is this:

After Eliot disappears during a job, Nate "grounds" him to the van during the next job. The problem, though, is poor Hardison is stuck alone with a cranky hitter, who is feeling really useless.

Nate playing the "Dad" card is fun. Poor Hardison, grumpy Eliot is no fun to be around...but probably a lot of fun for us *grins*.

First off, the Chris/Steve fluff:

Drunken texts after a show meant “I love you,” and long rambling e-mails meant “I wish I could hold you.” Somehow they made it work.

And nighttime visits:

A snippet without context probably wouldn't make sense. The story is a post-BBJ conversation between Parker and Eliot. It's from Parker's POV.
