Dammit! LJ ate my comment. D:

Let's try this again.

Thanks! I loved the rapport they established between Lindsey and Lorne in "Dead End." It seemed rife with potential.

Oh so prophetic... :)

You know, in the first version of this story, I went all the way to when Lindsey left LA, and I alluded to the fact that Lorne in some small way knew he might bring about Lindsey's death. He didn't tell him that, but he urged him to stay away from LA. I might do a follow-up to this story and explore that...

Oh Linds... yes, that's how it happened in my head. Wanting to do good, then a little compromise here, another there, needing the praise... and if Lorne keeps poking him, that would explain why there were lines that Lindsey didn't cross, why he kept that tiny bit of conscience. Lorne and Lindsey, love the dynamic!

Thanks! I've been wanting to write this story for a while, but it kept choking me up to think about how things turned out for them (and to think about Andy Hallet).

Andy. *sniffles*

I think I really need to write a piece in my Face Value!verse where Lindsey meets Lorne again and they clear things up... poor Lorne...

This is perfect, and makes my heart ache for Lindsey. I can totally see him coming into the firm all light and positive and just having it torn away from him over the course of his time there as ambition and competitiveness takes over. To close: Eep, and wibble.

Thanks! Lindsey is a much more complicated character than the series really took time to explore!

This breaks my heart a little, especially knowing where they end up. So tragic for both of them.

Also loved the "werewolf TMI". Hee!
