Yeah, the whole senseless part of the Marine killing bothered me too. I just have issues with any kind of soldier dying senselessly. I know that is biased, but it's just true.
I loved the bitemark. And Mac's emotion about it. That was great.
I'm not sure why we have the big death's. I always dread all the trauma, but yet I sit there and cry like a baby and it gives me release, so in a way, I like it.........I dunno. It's hard to explain.
How do you miss 12 out of 12 and pass????? Either they are really arrogant or really lazy and my guess is the latter.
I'm with you on the soldier thing. A lot of the men in my family have been in the military, and I have a tremendous respect for them. My grandpa was a POW, and my uncle came home on leave from Vietnam, only to be killed by drunk drivers.
See, I can do a post without a Sark icon..........;-)
Passing might not be in their future, actually.
LMAO! I see!! Makes much more sense now!
My Dad was in WWII and I have an uncle who served in Vietnam and he has never been the same since he came home. He told us horror stories and he only talks about it when he is really drunk. And..........I was dating a guy from the 101st Airborne during The Gulf War and it was the most emotional thing in my life!
I hated how they took Aiden out, and I thought it was cute about the ending, and the bitemark for Mac was a nice touch, and I liked the flashbacks with Aiden. Even though it sucks she's gone :(
The marine case bothered me too, and I liked Mac giving her the watch, it was cute.
I'm glad they let her fight. I knew she would though, because Aiden never seemed like the type that would just lay there, you know? I'm gonna miss that chick.
Speed's exit was appalling. I was never that enamored of Aiden. She was okay, but I didn't feel a sense of loss with her. I'm just bothered in general by Big Deaths.
Third Watch wrote off characters the best way. Doesn't matter if they killed them or not. Each death especially was amazingly well done. I don't cry at TV. This one makes me.
There's an episode, one of the very first ones, and it's not even a main character that dies. It's JK Simmons, aka Skoda from Law and Order or Jonah Jameson from Spiderman. (Who's my favourite actor ever, but that's not the point.) The episode is so heartwrenching because he and his deadbeat brother are trapped. They can (NYFD) move the thing one way so that it will kill the deadbeat, one way that it will kill JK. JK dies. It's so sad. He makes a tape for his wife and the baby who are literally only a few hundred feet away. :(

They should've done more with Speed's ending.

Better than Speed's though. Anything is better than his.
