1. Bones - Good solid episode. Not brilliant, but solid. I like that ( spoilerish bits )

tv: bones, tv: supernatural

Maybe I'm reading too much into it but the interaction Sam and Bobby bothered me. They were acting like casual acquaintances, and Bobby seemed wary of Sam being there. I'm spoiler free, too so I have no idea what the writers have planned. Maybe Bobby was in a bad mood or something.

I noticed Bobby's reaction, too. Definitely hinky.

*covers eyes from Bones spoilers*

The thing is, Sam was subtly OOC. I would like to assume it's intentional and they're going somewhere with it, but you know what's throwing people off? That this is all new. New storyline, new showrunner, no one knows what to expect. With Kripke we knew all his aces in his sleeve, but now we don't know the tricks they'll play. We can just assume. BUT, I like it! It's unexpected, we can't foretell, not really, we have to wait and see!
And anyone that puts Dean doing manual labor is clearly on the right path. XD

Yes, Dean doing manual labor = instant bonus points.

I enjoyed Supernatural last night. Dean in a domestic, blue collar work setting was just as intriguing as hunter!Dean. Yeah everyone is talking about what's going on with Sam. I do think it will be the ongoing issue of the season. I just want the epic brotherly love. *sigh*

Yeah, I'm loving the blue collar Dean. That's one of my kinks. ;)

I thought the entire episode was off with both characters and motivations. I suspect there will be a big reveal in the future, but if that is the case, it really wasn't that well done. I was quite disappointed in Dean's abrupt about-face, etc. but hopeful all will pay off later.

Overall the episode was no where close in quality to most of the episodes from next season.

The new opening sequence was good.

I am still hopeful with Mitch and Corin and David Paetkau (sp???) because they are all awesome.

Glad to find someone else on my flist liked SPN...

As for Sam acting OOC... my theory is that he's actually much more wounded from Hell and his emotional distance is to keep himself from crumbling. I wonder if we can expect him to have a breakdown at some point later on. We saw how Hell affected Dean in S4. At first he told Sam he didn't want to talk about it, but then he started opening up about the whole thing. Wonder if this will happen with Sam too? Guess time will tell.

I was starting to think I was the only one who liked it on my list, lol.
