*glares at prompt*

Does anyone have ANY ideas for how I can write a fic for kissbingo for the prompt "butterfly kisses" that doesn't involve me writing a freaking kidfic? I'm plotting out my card, and that one prompt is standing in the way of me pulling off a blackout. I don't write cutesy kidfic. Period.

If you don't know the fandoms I'll write for, look here.

grr, writing, bingo

Drunken truth or dare, lol. That has some possibilities. Even if I don;t use it for this prompt, I might have to try that for something later.

I remember reading a fic that included butterfly kisses during sex. As long as the "kiss" is the fluttering of the eyelashes it can be against any body part. At least that's what I'm thinking. Hope that helps.

I would be infinitely more comfortable with something like that than I would a cutesy parent-child fic. Thanks!

kidfic?!!?! *is scared*

So there's that cliche about how killing a butterfly a million years ago can alter the course of history. I'm thinking if you tied it to something like SGA's Last Man you could have a butterfly bookmark the story (dies in scene one, flies away in last scene).

Someone could be getting butterflies in their stomach (aka nervous about something). A good blow job could calm the nerves (or so I'm told). THAT ain't kidfic.

uh.... that's all I got.

Yeah, kidfic scares the crap out of me. I don't need any cute little kids in fic, lol. This is why I don't write domestic fluff about couples with children.

Hmm... those are some ideas!

Ok, so, thinking of it from another angle, who about, you use this site http://www.butterfly-kisses.com/releases.html which you pay to have butterfies released for a special function of some sort, and just have them kiss as normal.

Or is that cheating?

That's a good question. I don't know. Maybe I should float that by the mods. They said we were free to interpret...

When I was in the shower just now, I was vaguely thinking of an Alec/Eliot story where Alec gives Eliot butterfly kisses initially to annoy him, but Eliot really kind of likes the tenderness. Possibility? Or would that be cheesy?

I'm not sure, in a literal interpratation, how to avoid the danger of chees to be honest. I was thinking of an Eliot/Aimee ficlet for it, where Eliot comes back from a long trip away, and Aimee is annoyed at him, so he gives her butterfly kisses to make her laugh and improve her temper. The only problem is it sounds a little old hat really, not got a novel twist.

Maybe I could just go for the humor and use the cheese factor to my advantage. Ugh. I should have vetoed this prompt. I had one veto left, and I didn't use it.

I could work with the Eliot/Aimee, thing, though. It would probably wind up being full-blown angst, though. ;)

You don't mention Sawyer/Juliet on your list there, but I recall you shipping them, and I've read a lot of Sawyer/Juliet fluff where a prompt like that would fit right in. Those two are just made of fluffy cute adorableness.
