Because I'm a horrible person, I've never seen Brokeback Mountain. I really need to rent it.

the thing that most upsets me about Brokeback is that most people just label it 'a homo movie' and completely ignore how touching it is, how wonderfully it is acted, and the message it has for everyone, ironically, especially those who call is homo

I hear you. My cousin's husband couldn't get past it when my cousin and I watched it. He didn't even give it a chance.

Yes, it is such a wonderful love story. Easily one of my all time favorite films. And such talented performances.
