i happened to rewatch this yesterday, it gets better and better each time i see it

I love Star Trek, though this particular incarnation of Star Trek is really the only one I've ever been exposed to. I've tried to watch a handful of the syndicated shows, but none of them ever caught my attention. This one, however, did and it's a brilliant film with more rewatch capacity than most other things I've seen in a long, long time.

I love ST since I was just a kid - and I'm sooo glad that I love the new ST movie just as much (okay I might love the TV shows a little bit more ;-)).
