I have 26 schools on my potential grad school list. Eek.

Does anyone have any insight into living St. Louis, MO. I think a couple of my flisters are from the area, and I'd like some inside chatter on the city.

rl: eek what now?, rl: phd

My old roomie pyralisha grew up around there so if your flist can't help I'm sure she wouldn't mind chatting with you about it.

I lived there for a year...incredibly hot in the summer (and humid) and it can smell truly horrid in summers if you live within five miles of the Budweiser brewery (hops and humidity do not mix).

But it's a decent city. Lots of culture.

I'm from the suburbs of St. Louis, not the city proper, but I do like the area a lot. I'm moving back there in May actually.

I'm happy to answer any questions if you have them.

I knew there was a reason I decided to open LJ today. I'm in STL & can probably tell you whatever you want to know. It's a pretty good place for the mostpart. All cities have their good and bad things. Weatherwise it can get hot and humid in the summer, but winter is fairly mild.
