Joe Quesda at Comic Con

Joe Quesada is hinting on his Twitter that he'll be making a big announcement at Comic Con tomorrow. Let's hope he's going to announce the actor who will be playing Captain America and that this isn't typical underwhelming Joe Q stuff.

I hope it is the talk of the con, but for really good reasons.

Any line on who it could be?

There seems to be a lot of conflicting reports. They're apparently trying to cast a name actor so he'll have international appeal. They've even bounced Will Smith's name around (which would be the WRONG choice). But there's someone on IMDB (so take this with a grain of salt) who claims the Friday announcement will confirm Mike Vogel from Cloverfield as Cap. He's hardly a name actor, though.

I'm almost sure they'll go with someone around the 30-years-old mark, so the actor will be convincing in multiple films over the next few years.

I hope so, too, because they're still bouncing around the Will Smith idea, and that would suck so freaking much.
