I'm really going to miss seeing Major Lorne on a regular basis. Like a lot. And it's starting to hit me that I won't get to see him in regular little installments, and we'll probably never get to hear his first name said on screen. :(

I'm really starting to freak that there's only two episodes left :(

I'm truly gutted. Since I don't recognize SGU as a legitimate part of the successor to SG-1 and SGA, I truly feel like the franchise itself is in its last days, and that makes me sad.

Sorry :( Losing favourite shows sucks. Most of my favourites have been/are on their way to getting cancelled. It weird to think about these characters, who have become a part of your life, won't be around anymore :(

Thanks. :(

Kavan (who plays Lorne) works pretty steadily, so I'm sure he'll turn up somewhere. He already seems to have a recurring role on Sanctuary. But to not see him play Lorne... yeah, it's so weird.

I still feel weird about not seeing Bashir and O'Brien (from DS9) or Piper (from Charmed) or Daniel (from SG-1). They really do become a part of your life.

Since Robert Carlyle was cast in SGU, there is some faint hope that Lorne could be the military commander on that show. They have a "name" actor, now they need some continuity and a great "face". OK - maybe that is my own fic, but hope burns.

The one thing that would guarantee I'd watch SGU is if Lorne showed up on it. From where I'm standing, it would only be a smart move on their part. He's a fan favorite, and people would follow him over, the same way they followed Hewlett to SGA. Believe me, I was reluctant to watch SGA at first, but I became infinitely more interested when they announced McKay was on it.

Seriously, throw Lorne into SGU and all is forgiven. :D

Well, it could mean more appearances of Kavanaugh in Sanctuary then? That might be ok, right?

I'm hoping so, especially since I'm already the fandom's one avid Joe/Will shipper, lol. They seem to have established him as a recurring character. He could be Will's connection to the outside world.
