So now we might not get Leverage Season 5 on DVD. There was a little confusion about whether he was talking about a whole series collection, or Season 5 itself. A fan asked him to clarify if he meant that there would be no Leverage Season 5, and he replied "unfortunately not." So... I hope they're able to find a new distributor for your show.

I've been a fan of quite a few shows where they left plots unresolved after cancellation jPod, Endgame... It's no fun.

They did a wonderful job of resolving the story--it left the door open for more episodes if they get picked up by another station or want to do a web series or something. But it gave us closure. I'm grateful for that. It sucks when plots are left unresolved. :/

The possibility of no S5 DVDs truly sucks, especially when you look at all the other DVD releases.

Take Rizzoli and Isles. Does that show really have that many more viewers than Leverage did? Not to mention all the crappy "direct-to-DVD" movie releases these days.

It just seems bizarre to me that in today's media/tech age, we're still dependent on the decisions of the big distributors (like Fox and Paramount) for these things. Isn't there some kind of indie outfit out there that could handle this?

Honestly, it's like we Leverage fans have suddenly become lepers. :(

And all because they didn't sell enough season 4 DVDs - and they probably haven't even taken into account that the UK hasn't seen the region 2 season 4 yet! Can't count something that isn't out yet ( ... )
