Hi guys. My new computer hasn't come yet. Unfortunately. (But I'm really hoping that it'll be here any day now... *fingers crossed*) So I've had to save more of the computer time that I can grab for doing homework (of which there is an annoyingly large amount). I'm so sorry you still don't have a computer (I can relate since my first year of college way back when I didn't have a working computer at all and it DROVE ME CRAZY), but I'm glad you're otherwise having fun. I'm super looking forward to seeing all your pictures! Oh, and since your b-day is coming up, is there anything you're specifically missing in Germany that you'd like to be sent from the US? XD I ask now because I understand int'l. shipping can take a while.

Aww, the kitties will come around. After all, this time they'll have had a chance to legitimately MISS you and so they won't be so stand-offish. Although getting any cat love sounds good, especially from a book-store guardian kitty.

As for the cocoa, are you a Swiss Miss, a Nestle, or some other brand kind of gal? Because I shall provide!

I hope you're enjoying QI! Brian and I are all caught up with it now and it's making me sad that I have to wait for episodes. As for Top Gear, I promise that later seasons get crazier and more entertaining...if you have any German friends who know about cars, name-drop the Nurberg Ring - it's this epic test track in German.

As for special German stuff, I honestly have no idea...well, maybe some chocolate since you make it sound delish!

I have decided that store guardian kitties are among the best kitties. And that every bookstore should have to have one.

*glee* I do love me some Swiss Miss and I'm also very fond of the Land O Lakes cocoa, which seems to come in a million different flavors.

QI is great! I'm having a lot of fun with Top Gear too. I don't know now why I never watched it before, because it's on on BBC America all of the time. Heck, I think it was one of the few shows on the channel that I didn't watch from time to time. I am unexplainably fond of both Mary: Queen of Shops and Hotel Inspector.

if you have any German friends who know about cars, name-drop the Nurberg Ring No German friends who fit that bill yet, but I have an American friend here with me who does.

I can do chocolate. With ease. I seriously think it's some sort of law here that every store must have at least three candy isles.

I got better much faster this time than the first. One of the other girls in the program made me some ginger tea from her grandmother's recipe. It helped me so much.

I must say one thing in defense of the snow: It makes everything here look just that much prettier.

My computer is here and I am better (and hope to stay that way). Now I just have like a month of lj to catch up on. And you posted your NaNo fic!!! *is thrilled*

That SUCKS that you still don't have a computer ... BUT THAT'S SOO COOL! The weekend trips sound fabulous! AND definitely motivation to get homework done. I've heard Prague is really cool too! :)

The trips are definitely fabulous, though all of the fun stuff to do here can make it hard to focus on homework at times.
