Lovely! I love how you have John reel through such a gamut of emotions in so few words, but we can still really feel it.

That was nicely in character. I particularly liked the way John blurts out "I'm not gay" - because people say dumb things in that sort of situation - as well as Lestrade chipping in with a bit of insight.
