I LOVE IT! The 20s lingo is delightful, and you got the noir feeling down pat. I love the little details of their relationship (making breakfast!) but you still managed to keep Jim's personality even as he was falling for an "ordinary" girl. I wish I was better at commenting on fics, but I'll just say that I'm literally squealing right now.

I love historical AUs so much - this is an awesome period to throw them into, and you have so many awesome details here! And the way you've described Jim and Molly's relationship is really interesting; the strange power imbalances (she's shy and ordinary but he's addicted to her) make it complicated and totally credible. I love this! <3
