2013 SPF: Friday Drabble Day Master Post

Jul 26, 2013 09:47

The 2013 Summer Prompt Fest will have two Friday Drabble Days - one today, and one on August 2. Drabble Days are a chance to use the fest's unclaimed prompts to create shorter works - if something inspires you and you want to play around with it without committing to a fully-developed story or artwork, this is the place! Here's how it works:

  • Choose a prompt from the list below. All prompts unclaimed for the main round are eligible. (There's been some shuffling of prompts since claiming closed, but this list is the most up to date.)
  • Write a quick drabble or ficlet, scribble out a drawble, create a mini-picspam or fanmix: whatever you like! Have fun. Take it easy.
  • Share your work as a direct reply to the weekly Friday Drabble Day post (or share a link to the work on your own journal or other publicly accessible archive). That's not this post; the first weekly post is here! You're free to fill prompts on that post until the next weekly post goes up on the following Friday.
  • Comment on this post with a link to your work so it can be included in the Friday Drabble Day master list, which will be posted on August 15.

We want people to be able to chat, squee, comment, and otherwise enjoy themselves on all posts, which can make it difficult to separate fanworks from chatter - so, if you fill a prompt, after posting it on the weekly post, please also comment on this post with a link to your Drabble Day work. That way, people who don't want to sort through all the other fun stuff can track this post for notification of new works. If you have a question, suggestion, concern, etc., please make use of the weekly Friday Drabble Day post or the Mod Contact post, or email sherlockmas.mod@gmail.com.

When leaving a link to your fill on this post, you're free to use the following form (or to modify it, as long as you include all of this information):
