I adored this story, after thinking I didnt care for the pairing. Seeing Sherlock from this remove is remarkable, and touched some deep nerves about my own brother. I loved getting to know this mysterious, aluring, deep and passionate Mycroft, and believed in Lestrade as his comfort and anchor in some sort of 'ordinary' world. Lestrade as Gabriel is lovely.
You've deepened by compassion for both leads, particularly Mycroft, who I always viewed through the distorted 'sherlock filter' before this.
