"Come along then," Sherlock grumbled in a swirl old coat and excessive energy. John watched him leave with a heavy sigh and looked toward Mycroft. "You know that moment when Sherlock hasn't had a case for weeks, and right before you see him again you hear him humming?" Well versed, at this point, in reading both Holmes brothers John didn't miss the carefully suppressed shudder or the slightly heavier inhalation. "That's exactly how I feel right now."

Tally forth...

I'm hoping someone might like to take this bit and turn it into a story where Mycroft has to be an active participant in solving a case, and John is the only one that can keep them from killing each other. I would love an eventual MxJxS pairing, but I'm not picky. Just have fun.

Sherlock does die at Reichenbach, and now he's in Purgatory, exactly balanced between Heaven and Hell. He has one year as a ghost to tip the scales one way or the other, influenced by agents from both sides and, naturally, working on a way to cheat the system and come back to life.

However, due to a parallel increase in animal attacks, international law soon put in strict regulations into the control of international animal trade ( ... )

I actually joined Livejournal to post this prompt - fanfiction.net, specifically one particular Sherlock fanfic on there - takes up most of my Sherlock fanning-energy, and I have been trying to resist joining here so I don't either become totally obsessed 24/7, or else feel guilty not giving either fan circle the time they deserve!. So I'll probably be sporadic on here, but still pleased to be a part of the community. Spool over now ( ... )
