Someone finds out that Male Character A was once a "date for hire" during a particularly bad time in his life. Rather than being a turn off, this is like sex pollen plus oysters plus slinky lingerie plus viagara all mixed together to make Bone Potion or something for Male Character B.

Conversely, Molly was once an escort to pay for university/when she was broke as Hell/etc.

Prefer S/J, Mycroft/Lestrade or Molly/Lestrade

Once more the issue was dropped in light of the case. John didn’t see anything promising in the records but Sherlock found one name he resolutely clung to: Maria Else Mums.
