Unbeknownst to John, Sherlock has just started working undercover as a male escort... at the same agency John just secretly called to request an escort that looks like Sherlock.
Bonus points if John, in his infinite John-ness, actually wants to make believe he's wooing "Sherlock" and plans to meet the escort for a romantic dinner before shagging his brains out. Because I love the idea of Sherlock going to meet his client at a restaurant then being freaked/flattered/curious when he realizes who it is . Awkwardness leads to "Why the hell not?" which leads to HOTNESS.
And not to rain on any seconder's parade, but I'm not really looking for a version of Sherlock who "slutted it up at uni/worked as a prostitute to support his drug habit/is secretly a total sex god" (not that I don't love those Sherlocks too!). For this I just want a Sherlock who has some experience and isn't disgusted by or afraid of sex, he just never thought sex was worth the time/effort/emotional fallout/distraction of putting up with the dull people he was having
