The night the mad chase after the owner of the exotic aquarium, who turned out to be the murderer, John could swear he hear some movement in his bedroom at night, but he was too tired to focus on it. When he finally did woke up it was after noon and his books were all out of order. The photos from the shelves were sat on the desk and bedside table, and one of John’s jumpers was casually draped over the back of the desk chair. The surface of the desk itself cluttered with some books, medical journals and John’s laptop laying in the middle of it all, out of the drawer were it was kept so far. Open and with a small notebook John used to scribble in during case lying on the keyboard. John sighed, it did look a lot more lived in than ever before. It didn’t stop him from highlighting the right sections on one of the copies of flatmates agreement and shoving those pages under Sherlock’s bedroom door

§27 Weekly shopping should take place on weekends, done with provided by lists made from both flatmates so the smaller trips to the shops will be unnecessary during the week. §28 The costs of the shopping shall be divided in exact system: each flatmate pays for the products bought explicitly for him, the costs of shared products is divided in half between both flatmates.
CORRECTION TO §27 & §28: John does the shopping, Sherlock pays for it.The door to John’s bedroom were closed and for a moment Sherlock stared at this obstacle as if surprised by any barriers at all

§63 Any visiting sexual and/or romantic partner who stays for four days or more a week for a month is counted as another flatmate and should sign the flatmate agreement which shall be changed accordingly. Perhaps it’s a developing paranoia, but John actually slows down when he notices a van parked before the Baker Street 221b. He’s getting better at avoiding kidnappings lately. Or at least with dealing with them when they actually happen. He considers finishing the sandwich he has in his bag just in case he’ll be held for days (again), but he decided against it, when he notices a blonde woman caring the boxes out of the van. After some time he also notices a man that’s helping her our and noticing their similar looks he hopes they’re siblings and not one of those creepily alike couple
