There's quite a lot of Americanism but despite that I really enjoyed this, particularly the ending :)

Ow sorry, anon!author here! well I'm glad you enjoyed it anyway, I was quite worried! Thank you! to be truthful english is not my first language so i'm really crappy at knowing what's england's english or american :/ I know I should refrain from writing Sherlock since the distinction is important here, but uh, yeah, the show took over my mind!

Well, I'm an American, so I can't Britpick, obviously, but I thought the English was just fine considering that it's not your first language! (I can't even Britpick let alone write in another language! lol) Don't refrain from writing, just tell people in the beginning that it's not your first language, the Sherlock fandom seems to be mostly full of awesome people! :)

The story is really cute, author!anon. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

I am British and one little pointer, we say "mum" not "mom". It's more glaring than most. :)

Oh, that is SO VERY AWKWARD, and it ends BEAUTIFULLY.

Sherlock's inability to do the appropriate thing actually HELPS A LOT at the end - clearly John is not doing this on a dare from Sally. And this guy is pretty odd, but, well, he does appear to love John.

I hope John and his parents get over it. It looks like Sherlock doesn't need to.
