He's quite happy that Harry isn't here right now, as the situation is already atrocious without her... so-called help.
He remembers perfectly the drama of growing up near his very-obviously-a-lesbian sister, specially the teenage years, it had all been screeching between his mother and her, about dresses and combat boots and tuxedos at proms. He'll remember forever his father sighting, like it resolved everything “well we'll always have John for the blood line, right son?” and he had nodded at the time, as he was still unaware of crazy male detectives and the incredible sex appeal they had on him, all about “legwork” and dates that turned into car chases. So he grew up being the normal one, enjoying the privilege of having his whole extended family asking about his marital status every single time they saw him, condemned to “no, I'm not seeing anyone” or “she's really nice, but we're not that far in our relationship” while Harry was ( ... )
