Brainwashing by Moriarty

"Hello, John." The voice is smooth and posh, with no trace of emotion.
He doesn't look up. This was covered in Lesson One: Don't Be John. Don't look up when you hear the name, don't turn your head, don't blink, don't react, don't even feel recognition. There is no John Watson. John is gone

I love you, Anon. Like, with all my heart. This was even better than I could have hoped for and I have you, dear Anon, to thank for it. I would love love LOVE it if you wrote more--like how Sherlock gets revenge or how he helps John through the trauma--but this is fantastic and awesome as it is. Thank you so, so much for making me so happy.

Thanks. I might do something de-anoned on my own journal with the HTML fixed and stuff, but I don't think I'll do a follow-up. I'm terrible at writing the trauma recovery part.

Oh I loved this, not only because of course John is not killing Sherlock, and that Sherlock would know. It reminds me of the time Martha was replaced in Doctor Who and the Doctor knew the whole time. I wish there could be a sequel for how they get back at Moriarty, but you can't have everything.
There is also the fact that I love the Manchurian Candidate, not just the film, the original one, but have read the book quite a few times. Hooray.

As much as I'd like to read a sequel, I'll pay you my highest compliment - this doesn't need one.
