1)If you don’t know what I refer to, then go and read the Good Omens by Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett. Now!

2) He could’ve strangled the bureaucrat who typed ‘shoulder wound’ on his file. He didn’t but the man was investigated for tax evasion for the next twenty years.

3) Earth preferred angry phone calls and yelled insults before somebody pulled the trigger; Hell believed that physical contact was only necessary if you wanted to cause pain on the physical plane.

4) It was a smaller miracle to find the bookshop open for business and Sherlock knew Somebody wanted them to meet and talk.

5) Watson had his own reasons for doing this, of course. Most of it was the easy way they settled down around each other; part of it was how hard it would be to train a new angel to ignore him and his damned job; and lastly, he was hoping to tempt the angel to lie. After all, one usually couldn’t be polite and still stick to the truth.

Now I want to go re-read Good Omens! This was so fantastic and funny! Love that Watson wants to get Sherlock to lie. Super brilliant and would love to read more of this 'verse!

Oh boy, did I giggle.
I giggled and snorted and nearly fell out of my chair at one point because I was laughing so hard and MY GOD, I need to steal Drew's copy of Good Omens again because this is BRILLIANT!!
