Empty House (TW: Attempted suicide)

Sherlock returns from his "death". During his time away, he believed that John would either move on and live a comfortable life or, find out that he was faking his death but keep it a secret while patiently awaiting his return.

John has lived with overwhelming guilt. Refusing help from anyone, he is living hand to mouth and is in terrible health. Sherlock has not been informed of this by Mycroft and designs an elaborate way to surprise John with his return.

Upon seeing Sherlock, John believes he is-again-being tormented by a hallucination. John has had enough he runs from Sherlock, grabs his gun and shoots himself in the head. John misses but is gravely injured.

During John's months long recovery-which Sherlock helps with-both John and Sherlock work through their anger and guilt which leads to them finally discovering how much they love each other.

I can totally see John-being-a-total-Casanova and meeting up with him for a quickie and topping him from the bottom (making him call him "sir" and such). Bonus points if Sherlock sees them and joins in somehow.

Criminal Minds/Sherlock crossover

Sherlock Holmes and Doctor John Watson (and DI Lestrade representing the Yard- formalities) are needed in a case in the United States where they meet Doctor Spencer Reid and the Behavioral Analysis Unit (Hotch, Morgan, Rossi, Garcia, JJ, Prentiss).

Spencer and Sherlock have some massive intellectual fights (which most of the others do not understand).

Bonuses:
Instant spark and chemistry between characters.
John hitting on the girls which leads to jealous!Sherlock and sulking.
