Sherlock's Will

It turns out that Sherlock has a will. Except he was in a snarky/haughty mood when he made it, and at the time he never expected to die before anyone mentioned in the will, so its completely ridiculous. He writes everyone he knows letters with secrets he discovered but never told anyone about, he has dozens of solutions to cold cases for Lestrade, he has a journal he has sent to Anderson's wife with everytime Anderson and Donovan hooked up, etc.

But for John, he wrote a hear felt letter, and willed him all of his money. Enough money, in fact, that Sherlock wouldn't have needed a flatmate for Baker St. It's how John comes to realise that Sherlock loved him.

Absolutely stunning, Anon. I didn't think anyone could write a believable love letter from Sherlock, but you did. That was so heartfelt and touching. Bravo!

I'm crying. I rarely do, I don't ship Sherlock/John, but that last letter moved me every bit as much as reading Holmes's letter in The Final Problem moved me back when I was a kid. Thank you for sharing.

The letter to Anderson's wife is deliciously dishy and SO Sherlock. Love it.
